Snow Day in Oregon

Matching snowsuits...how cute!
Tate trying to do a snow angel in the barely inch of snow we got...did I mention they closed schools?
I think Logan looks like the kid from The Christmas Story...only cuter.
So, Logan didn't want gloves until he fell. Then he screamed until I put them on, but Tate had taken the smaller pair, but Logan didn't seem to mind. He kept pulling his hat down over his eyes. Trying to be a gangster, I guess.
And our awesome neighbors, the Jensens. They made a snowman...and yes, it has a celery nose.

Christmas Morning

McDonalds cash register and food! Who knew he would be so excited? This was a family gift.
Can I just say that I love playmobil stuff?? Tate will play with it for hours. My only caution is that is has really small parts. We keep his in a big ziploc bag.
I am opening Logan's present from Santa.
This was one of my favorite Christmas presents. Brad made me a coupon book. Not just any coupon book, but one with 101 coupons!! Some of them included back massages, dinner at my favorite restaurant, night out with the girls...and so on. Thanks honey, you're the best!
Brad's favorite...socks! No, I think he really liked the hand held yatzee game. Although I don't know if it beat last year's Deal or No Deal handheld. They make great stocking stuffers.

Progressive Dinner

Tate opening his present. I guess that is pretty obvious.
Tate and Logan both got a hat and matching sweatshirt. Logan got red and Tate got blue. I love them! They are so cute! Thanks Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lori!
Logan loved his hat and wore it the rest of the night. He kept running around in circles. It was so funny.
I had to put this picture up for many reasons. For those of you that you don't know, my sister Jannah is engaged. That is her fiance Ted and his son Logan (we refer to him as "boy Logan" not to be confused with "baby Logan." Not only do we love them, but my boys adore them.
And my favorite picture...all the Richardson grandkids.
So, about the progressive dinner...three of my siblings live within ten minutes of me, one lives in Washington and one in Utah. We started this tradition of this progressive dinner maybe about four years ago. This year we started at Josh's house and had soup. Next we went to my house where we had veggies and foccaccia bread with oil and balsamic vinegar. And then Joe's house for this yummy fruit salad....I know a bunch of you just broke out singing that Wiggles song. We ended at my parents for the main course and then Jeff and Jason were in charge of the dessert. We usually start at 1pm in the afternoon and end around 8pm or 9pm. It is really fun!

A Pink Princess Birthday Party

Sir Tate with his homemade armor and his tin foil covered sword ready to ride over to the pink princess birthday party.
Tate was the only boy invited and all the girls there were going to be wearing pink. We tried to make him manly.
"I'm going too,...right Mom?"

Zoo Lights

We went to see the Zoo Lights and it was FREEZING! Our neighbors came with us...as you can see.
Logan just hanging out.
Tate kept wanting us to put the whole blanket over him so he had no wind chill whatsoever. He was very done by the end of it.
He did really want to see this gingerbread house though so that was the last stop before we headed out.

Santa on Board the Polar Express!

Logan sitting on Santa's lap for the first time.
Santa handing Logan a bell...which by the way was the perfect size for choking. I threw them away shortly after we were home. I know, I am a mean mom.
Tate being scared of Santa. I just wanted Santa to give him the bell and be done with it, but he kept persisting until Tate sat on his lap.
And Tate telling Santa that he wants a Nerf gun for Christmas.

Polar Express

Daddy & Logan being a cheese ball.

Grandma Richardson & Tate
Grandma & Grandpa Richardson with Tate and Logan.
Logan is eatin his PB&J.
And the family.
The Polar Express was really fun but way too long. Brad said he heard someone saying that so many people complained last year that the ride was too short that they extended it this year. It was supposed to be an hour and a half and it ended up being two and a half hours! The boys were so done!
